The 5th workshop on LiDAR application in forest ecology was held by the Institute of Botany, the Chinese Academy of Science (IB-CAS), from June 2nd to 6th, 2019. More than 300 students from 100 organizations participated in this workshop. Guo Qinghua, professor of  IB-CAS hosted the opening ceremony.
